Oppressed aren't suppressed anymore

Hey, lovelies. We need to bring about a revolution. Reservation in India was created to provide satisfactory opportunities to the oppressed communities/backward communities in India. Today, we can clearly see that everyone is well-equipped and challenged enough. In earlier days, the need was felt as proposed by BR Ambedkar but we are still running the same old system. I have suffered personally my whole life because of this and many bright students I knew couldn't make it to prestigious engineering institutes. Arvind Kejriwal is from Vaishya Community, which means he is a Baniya. His wife Sunita Kejriwal just tied the knot with him.

I have interacted with men and women in different cities and realized that people belonging to SC/ST, and OBC are targeting UPSC Civil Services and other examinations. Why? The reason is that it's way too easy to get selected. Now, in today's age, where everyone is chasing instant gratification, kids are getting born every minute in India, where addiction is being abused by millions of Indian youth, backward communities have a fair deal in getting selected. So, the mindset has been ingrained since childhood. You will get through even if you get low marks. Even in educational institutions in standards such as 10th, the percentage scored matters. SC/ST and OBC students are getting to select science streams by scoring fewer marks. Later, these students succumb to being unable to pass exams and everyone suffers. The teachers who put in a lot of effort, and the students who thought they could make a career out of it, every resource is wasted. In a time like this, when every 1 out of 6 people is an Indian in the world, it is more imperative than ever to utilize our resources judiciously. Nothing stays forever, with time, everything changes, and necessity is the law of change, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita. I remember I mentioned this line in an interview, and I got selected by Adobe, while I had just completed 2 months in Tech Mahindra.

I wasn't able to answer any reasoning or mathematical questions asked by the interviewer but I just said this line, and somehow based on my previous work experience, they selected me. Ambedkar who created the reservation mentioned clearly that after a certain point, it should be eliminated because it will create spoon-feeding. Today, when I am sharing stories of Gulaal movies on my Insta and Facebook handles, nobody is paying attention to it because backward communities have understood that the secret to extracting ripe honey is by presenting caste certificates. Every time, so many people are getting behind. The movie Chichhore tried to capture the whole essence of it, wherein we could see that the child of the protagonist died after not being able to clear the engineering entrance exam.

My father keeps telling me that the youngest IAS Officer in India is Ansar Shaikh who's just 21 years old. I just researched online on Google and found a complete Wikipedia of other backward communities, wherein pretty much every Muslim surname you could think of is listed. No wonder, why backward communities would target government exams and public universities. When I was in 12th standard, I told you earlier as well, the topper was Abhinay Dubey, Siddharth Mishra and the list followed. I barely scratched the surface and saved my ass. Then, later, I found myself in Chandigarh Engineering College, where the majority of professors were alumni of IIT and other reputed institutions but they didn't know how to code or how to teach. They were from a backward community. Me and my friends watched YouTube videos and passed engineering exams. I couldn't have made it, if it wasn't for the videos that were created by helpful people. I saved my ass and passed engineering because I relied on my ability. I scoured the internet and evaluated PYQs to analyze question papers.

Now, we all know the state that produces the maximum number of UPSC officers in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The general category percentage is 15%. Extremely backward community constitutes 40% in Bihar and the remaining is formed by OBCs. So, it leaves very little scope for general-category students to compete in such a thorough examination procedure. My lovely people, you can check the facts and figures online on Google and even ask ChatGpt. I am a Rajput and I never lie, I am sure you must have heard about this dialogue in a movie.

I spent some time in Bengaluru. The owner of the place, who goes by the name Reddy, threatened me and manhandled me because I was unaware and started washing my bike. He told me to get lost and persuaded me to leave for my hometown Himachal Pradesh. Yeah, I saw Leo's movie on Netflix, I even saw Mismatched and loved it. But, he just shouted, this is my place, Bengaluru, get lost. I couldn't tolerate that but given the age of the man, I just went away without creating any trouble. But, that trauma stayed with me. We humans deserve respect. Just imagine, a muscular guy like me, being threatened by someone in India, in 2024, I was scared shit. Just imagine the dearth of the situation. Hopeless, youth like myself turn to desperate measures and end up losing our hard-earned money. People bearing weird surnames like Buddo and Farooq are spread out like insects. When you search the list of backward communities, you will find pretty much every surname listed. Most people in Uttar Pradesh use Singh's surname and my close associates tell me that these people are eyeing top government positions.

We all have watched the Super 30 Movie, right. The deserving candidate should get the opportunity. Eklavya gave his thumb to Dronacharya as Gurudakshina. We know that from our ancient scripture Mahabharat. But, later, Krishna killed Eklavya. Lord Krishna had to kill Eklavya. Now, Lord Krishna supported righteousness and guided the greatest archer of all time Arjuna to lead the war and then the battle of dharma happened in the "Kurukshetra" happened. Now, many scholars might argue that Eklavya was mightier than Arjuna and he overcame caste discrimination and finally received training from Guru Dronacharya. What these intellectuals forget is that: Lord Krishna outrightly mentioned in his teachings to his disciples that everything happens for a resource and one should not worry in any situation because it was never yours in the first place, whatever you took was from this place. The mightiest of warriors were killed and Pandavas defeated Kauravas. Reasonably, it isn't possible to defeat so many established leaders with just such a small army. But, when Lord Krishna is tapping on your shoulder and is your mentor, no obstacle can stop you from succeeding.

If even for a fact, let's forget it. Get it all out. In the "Ramayana", why did monkeys help Lord Ram in crossing the waters to Mata Sita. Wasn't Lord Rama capable enough to get it done himself? He prayed, and Lord Hanuman had to save Lakshman. Everything had to happen. It's just the way it is. Ravana fell in the words of her sister and abducted Mata Sita. Then, the Ramayana happened. After defeating Ravana, lord Ram came to Ayodhya and Diwali was being celebrated from that point onwards, which is being celebrated even today. Similarly, in the context of Mahabharat, Eklavya was just not the man to be selected as the hero.

When I appear in the SSB interview, that's the only hope left for me because there's no reservation in the Indian Army, pretty much every candidate chooses Ram as their hero. Their main character is Ram. I have been to the selection centre so many times, and honestly, guys, I couldn't bear it. Being a Hindu Rajput, it becomes unbearable to hear the word Ram so many times, and sometimes, there's a Muslim candidate besides me, I could only imagine how he might feel and react when everyone starts choosing Mohammed as the hero of their story in the initial stage of selection: Screening. Now, we aren't going to debate over how the selector is selected for this process because this is all under the control of the Indian Government. It's their task to find out OLQs in aspiring gentlemen and lady cadets. The point is, that everything had to happen the way it is. Lord Rama was born into a Royal Family.

Justice should be served to everyone. Why is reservation not applicable in the Indian Armed Forces? What is the government trying to achieve by introducing the Agniveer Scheme? Why is one specific section being exempted? Reservation is killing merit. Hard-working students are left behind while others belonging to backward communities who seek top government positions are getting selected. Let's come together to eliminate this social evil?
